Rowan also performs with Lady Maisery, & her multiple award-winning Solo show ‘Dispatches on the Red Dress’. Anna lives and works as a musician and teacher in Toulouse, where she completed a diploma in traditional Occitan music at the Conservatoire, & she recently spent a year studying fiddle music in Trondheim, Norway. .

The workshop will cover rhythm, bowing & ornamentation in several European traditional fiddle styles, with ideas to use in your own playing. There will be some smaller group exercises with a little improvisation, making up harmonies, accompanying songs & duo playing..
Please bring a recording device as teaching will be by ear, not from notation.
