John Kirkpatrick is a superb singer, great music writer, fine dancer & the best English squeezer bar none. He is one of the great solo acts on the folk scene & has played with the Albions, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Band of Hope & many more.
The workshop will cover chords, arrangements & accompaniments for tunes & songs. John says: ‘You can play the tunes, you can sing the songs, but what can you do with them? Explore a sideways approach to the music that frees you from the tyranny of having to get all those notes right!’ Some music will be sent in advance.
