Paul Sartin is a BASCA-nominated composer, arranger, performer & teacher. He is a founding member of the BBC award-nominated ensembles Belshazzar's Feast & Faustus (German Critics Award 2017) & the late Bellowhead. Director of the Andover Museum Loft Singers, his latest publication is 'Community Choirs Folk' for Faber Music. He arranged & directed the music for the 2017 revival of 'The Transports' (Guardian *****). Awarded a First for his Masters in Traditional Music, 2007, he received a 75th. Anniversary Award from the English Folk Dance & Song Society.
This workshop will cover traditional Southern English repertoire from the Pyle manuscript of Nether Wallop, Hampshire. Music will not be sent in advance but will be provided on the day.
