Bob is a fine singer & brilliant guitarist from the North East with a huge range of songs from the area. He tours extensively in the UK, USA, Australia & Europe. Since 1975 he has performed & recorded with Tom McConville, Stu Luckley, Vin Garbutt, Billy Mitchell of Lindisfarne, John Tams & Benny Graham as well as solo. Since 2011 Bob has played The Songman in the West End show War Horse (music by John Tams).
Bob also tours with Jez Lowe, Billy Mitchell & Benny Graham in the superb show The Pitmen Poets. This workshop will give participants the chance to learn some of the songs written by the Pitmen Poets of the North East & to learn about their background.
