Ollie plays & sings music steeped in the customs & traditions of England. He's one of our most exciting young melodeon players with a mature, well-rounded & distinctive style, playing only vintage Hohner instruments. Ollie plays with many other young musicians including Owen Woods, Mel Biggs & Matt Quinn in Boxtet.
The workshop will look at getting some life & soul into your playing. We'll look at bellows techniques, right-hand techniques, & phrasing & articulation as ways to add some vim & vigour to dance tunes, & subtlety & musicality to slower tunes.
