Andy Casserley and Ian Pittaway sing in mediaeval and modern English and play bray harp, recorders, rebec, gittern, oud, shawm, saz, simfony, and psaltery, to name but a few. Their great love of traditional music suits them ideally to convey mediaeval music & song to folk musicians.

This participatory workshop will cover early harmony, demonstration of instruments, mediaeval singing styles and playing styles, and the interpretation of mediaeval notation. No previous experience of early music is necessary. Some music will be sent in advance.
