Sara's unique frailing banjo style & her son Kieron's blues-inflected guitar are perfect for accompanying the real old music of America. Both are fine singers with an instinctive, deep symbiosis. Sara researches & collects traditional songs; Kieron also writes songs in traditional style.
Sara & Keiron will look at making accompaniments where songs demand them with banjo & guitar, using their deep understanding of US musical traditions & their own intuition. Bring a song you are finding difficult! Teaching will be by ear.
