Andy is a fine player of English dance music on Anglo concertina, as well as a singer. He's in the dance band Geckoes & the concert band Magpie Lane as well as performing solo. He's played with the Oyster Band, Chris Wood, the Christminster Singers & the Mellstock Band. He's a splendid solo performer & a popular & experienced tutor.

The theme of the workshop is playing English country dance music in a lively, danceable way. The morning session is for concertinas only & in the afternoon we will join forces with Mat Green's fiddle workshop to look at how different instruments can combine to make good dance music. Participants will be encouraged to play by ear but dots will be provided as a guide & sent out in advance. Not suitable for complete beginners.
