Dónal was born and reared in Co. Louth, Ireland, prior to migrating to England. He became a resident at Ewan MacColl & Peggy Seeger�s Singers Club alongside Sandra Kerr, John Faulkner & Terry Yarnell. He's regarded as one of the finest Irish singers of traditional & contemporary songs-both unaccompanied and accompanied. During the day we will focus on the ideal strategies to employ to tell the song story in the best way you can- doing justice to both story and yourself .
You are invited to bring along at least one traditional ballad of your choice to discuss and/or sing*

Dónal will perform and discuss some Irish ballads, traditional & contemporary.
