New Scorpion Band members Sharon Lindo (violin, viola, rebec, trombone, whistle, voice) and Robert White (bagpipes, flutes, brass, voice) are lively, stylish players of traditional music as well as distinguished performers of Early Music. They play in many formal ensembles & have an impressive list of stage & film credits including the RSC and the Globe.

Workshop participants should bring a favourite tune to share with the group, which will join the simultaneous Early Music workshop for its final session. Tim Laycock will also contribute.

Some music will be sent out in advance. Not for beginners.

15.15 How to assimilate styles from around the UK. Benefits & drawbacks. Making it your own.
We combine with the Early Music workshop for the final session.
