Mark Bazeley (melodeon & concertina) & Jason Rice (accordion, step-dancing) began playing in childhood absorbing the unique Dartmoor style from their respective grandfathers Bob Cann & Jack Rice. Rob Murch (5-string banjo) is a dazzling exponent of the rarely-heard classic finger-style banjo. They appear at festivals & folk clubs throughout this country and in the USA.

The workshop will cover some of the repertoire of The Dartmoor Pixie Band including some tunes handed down through the generations. Emphasis will be on the lively danceable style of playing which is unique to Dartmoor.
